CSAP update

Posted 12-19-2010 at 12:26 PM by Voyager

Twenty minutes ago, at Aurora Launch Platform, the James Madison lifted off into orbit. After first stage seperation, the second stage had an engine failure upon achieving 130km. Due to the failure, the James Madison has a base orbit of 150x220km. With stage one of the mission planned, the flight crew is on standby for their Antares-SR Washington.
Second Update will be in 12 hours after the launch of Washington.

(Also, anyone ever play Buzz Aldrin's Race into Space)

Nice! Need screenshots. Well, don't need them, but they help with the story.
On a somewhat related note, my next command module for a mission to Copernicus Base is the Dolly Madison. Are you naming all your ships after Presidents (or other Heads-of-State)? Just curious, I'm trying not to step on anyone elses ship names...

Yes and no. I am planning for our future lunar expedition named after famous scientists and aviators. For example the CEV-Orion we will be using will be called "Goddard".
