A (very) small start...

OK, so after a year of playing Orbiter, I want to start proper development!
I don't mean putting other people's hard work into UCGO boxes
but actual models, ships....... STUFF!
And so, after a crash course in Anim8or (i.e. "Oooooo! What does THAT nice button do?!") here's my first mesh!

OK, so it's rubbish. The big thing was supposed to be a chimney, but I wasn't too sure how the rotate button worked.
But it's a start!

Reminds me of my first 3d model
No one's a master at first, I'm no where near that point yet, but then again I rarely model these days.Posted 02-17-2011 at 04:07 PM by Sar

Some time ago I also started to learn modelling something, and I was not so bad. What was difficult to me was heavily changing the model after you've made it and of course working on details.Posted 03-05-2011 at 02:25 PM by Goth
