The Polygon Space Launch Facility was a hold-over from the cold war, Polygon administrators of the late 1980’s were forward thinking enough to peer into the future and see possibility, where the political masters in Moscow could only see a money pit. Rather than ride out the end of communism and find themselves on the same path the dinosaurs had taken, they chose to evolve. Risking the wrath of the policy makers several thousand kilometers away, they embarked on an ambitious modernization plan...

The lush green forests of Indonesia contrasted with the azure ocean again and again as the mated craft circled and climbed to altitude. Cleveland and Kirby had known each other for years, and the “employer-employee” relationship had long ago been blurred into a healthy friendship. After all it was Kirby who’d introduced...

John Kirby, multi-billionaire and owner of Phantom Manufacturing strode out of the cavernous hangar into the sweltering equatorial heat of the Malay Peninsula. He spied his long-time friend, Cleveland Davis standing on the edge of the apron staring at the enormous aircraft on the tarmac. His lanky form standing easy, arms crossed with the upper half of his flight suit hanging down at his waist, with the sleeves pulled around and tied in front, thus making his tie-died Bob Marley to be the most colorful...
