How did you search for
launch windows? Was it?:
The 1st option will find you posts containing "launch" OR "windows" keywords, so every post that contains either "launch" or "windows" words. The 2nd option will search for the "launch windows" phrase. You can also use AND, OR, NOT operators and asterisk if you need wildcards:
- AND (ex. launch AND windows)
- OR (ex. launch OR windows)
- NOT (ex. launch NOT windows) or the minus sign (-) (ex. launch -windows)
- an exact phrase using quotes (ex. "launch windows")
- wild cards using asterisks (*) (ex. wind*)
You can refine your search on the
Search page, by choosing which forums to search, search threads with specific prefix or number of replies, search in posts older or newer than, search only posts or threads created by member, or search threads by tag, where you can define sort order of results, and whether to show results as list of threads or posts.
Limitations:
- Minimum Word Length: 3 Characters
- Can't search common words
- Can't search special characters (alpha numeric only)
