Can number of hits for my add-on be set to zero? Issue Tools

Can number of hits for my add-on be set to zero?
Due to large number of builds the number of downloads of my Precession MFD add-on does not reflect its value to the player. Setting it to zero would be very nice and would save me the hassle of re-typing/re-uploading.

I would like to keep the link to my add-on, hence deleting/re-uploading is kind of ruled out. Would the powers-that-be reset the total downloads counter to the one from the most recent update?

TIA,

Wishbone

Hi Wishbone!

This would be a question for Vash as I don't have access to OHM controls. I'll assign him to this issue so he is notified. In the mean time, you will notice in addition to the 'Total Downloads' number there is 'Downloads Since Update'. This is the number of times it has been downloaded since you last updated the addon. Is that not suitable for your needs?

This lies at the very heart of the problem. When I was new to Orbiter and pre-selected add-ons for downloading, I simply clicked on "most wanted" files, thinking that the masses are right But now, as I'm writing my own add-ons and upload functional builds quite often, I can see that my practice may mislead others who rely (in the same way as I did) on the "most wanted" screen.
