3 screen Surround/Eyefinity UI Bug
Adjust Location of 2D UI elements when using Surround/Eyefinity Displays

Hi Dr. Schweiger,

I am running a 3 screen Nvidia Surround setup (7680x1440) with the D3D9 client (see attached screenshot below). I'm wondering if there's a way to adjust the location of MFDs and Engine Block Huds in the full screen 2d cockpit view? If you look at the screenshot, the UI's are cutoff across my 3 monitors (I marked where the screen borders are). If I could move them around so they're not split and sitting across two monitors, that would be great.

I think with surround/eyefinity setups, the video driver presents the display as one contiguous large display rather than multiple individual displays. If you are setting the UI elements' location based off of some % offset, that could explain this bug.

I wasn't able to get the software client to launch without a CTD (maybe due to the high resolution?), so if you think this is a D3D9 client bug, I can move the post over to that forum.

Thanks for all your hard work!

Running Build 28, Aug 2016 [v.160828]
D3D9Client 2016 Edition R1

You won't be able to test it on D3D7 renderer, as DirectX 7 is limited to 2054 pixels horizontal (not an Orbiter limit but a DirectX limit). You could try if you can reproduce it with in-line client with the same aspect ratio but using smaller resolutions within D3D7 limits, e.g. in a 2048x384 px window.

Confirmed, Can reproduce w/ in-line client as suggested. The smaller vertical resolution also exaggerates the fact that the sizes of the MFDs and other UI elements don't scale proportionally. The UI is a bit cramped and elements overlap.
