Hi,
I'm currently running through the Apollo missions using AMSO. I'm in orbit with Apollo 9 docked with the LEM, but there are a number of SPS burns that adjust both the apoapsis and periapsis of the orbit in a single burn. I'm familiar with adjust one or the other, but both in one burn would surely require some precision calculation. Is there an MFD that can perform this function, or might I have to make two burns for every one of Apollo 9's in order to match the orbit details? Thanks, -Phil |

Hi
Jarmonik's IMFD ( http://koti.mbnet.fi/jarmonik/Orbiter.html ) can circularize the orbit at the current altitude (look in the Orbital programs). Happy orbiting. Edit : I may have misunderstood the problem . If your question is : how to set both Ap and Pe of a non-circular orbit in one burn, just forget my reply.
