Request GPS MFD - Orbiter-Forum

Hi,

I've had a look round but couldn't see anything that could do what I was thinking of.

Basically, I was looking for a GPS MFD with waypoints, i.e. you feed the MFD some waypoints and it gives you steering instructions to those co-ords.

I am assuming your looking for a program that you tell it where u are, and where you wanna go and it gives you VOR radio freq's to fly a victor? (I think that makes sense and I hope I used the right terms, correct me someone if I just babbled nonsense)

If you find anything like that please let me know cause I winged a flight from ReFuel Corporate HQ to the cape and I zoomed out with the camera facing the nose so I could get an idea of where some VOR xmitters were so I could dial em in on my radio. Did the flight in like 3 hours and 4 refueling stops all subsonic in a DGIV

Two awesome MFDs, Autopilot adds (all?) of VORs around the world and airports down to some small almost dirt strip about 80km from where I live all the way to major airports... Nothing fancy as far as buildings but the airstrips themselves it clams to be accurate. I can't imagine the work involved in creating that project. The airports themselves are labeled by ICAO Airport Codes. If you wanna find a certain airport and do not know the ICAO code, you can use this website http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...y_ICAO_code:_A

the Nav Set I am glad you posted this... I wasn't aware of this guy... It sounds like if I want to plot a sub-orbital flight and fly it I am going to have to purchase a flight simulator and not a space flight sim
