Gatiis, don't mind the code it's a copy/paste job from several places.
Most of it based on the early AAPO tutorials

You have some code defining mesh groups for VC switches, yes, but no actual code to make them work. You may also find more unused stuff lying around.
It's lousy programming with no optimization....

Thanks. I got it. I just need to get all 3 version of Altair working.

I think UCGO works in 2016 so I might add that back in.

I need to put together a new version of SLS with all the new parts, EUS, crawler,...

Also working on an extended cabin for Orion.

It's an animation issue I think.
The pallet lowers but goes beyond the end of the landing state mesh.
One of those quick and dirty solutions to somehow make the UCGO cargo unload more "realistic".

You get that when you try to do early concept spacecraft. Some aspects would not work in the real world. It's like doing the LEM based on the first designs and expecting it to work.

Both Cargo and Manned Altair and Malpert.

On the pallet. The easiest way is just to have it lower to the edge of the frame. Otherwise A whole new mesh.
I can convert the mesh into Anim8or and add the rails.



And the CEV


UCGO kinda works. I haven't gotten the hud to display the cargo yet.

But since Ummu doesn't work you can't unpack except from the scenario

I was able to land Altair on the moon but not real smooth. the engine shuts off and the Altair falls and bounce some then settles some what. it needs a little adjustment and need the spotlight control

Well I am working on the "Talon Lander". It is similar to the Orion MPCV with different SM. The Talon will be able to dock/attach to an Altair style landing part.

Mesh is near done. I will need for a part of code.

Hey gattis, can I help out somewhere? I have some spare time ahead of me. I believe I was busy with the USA for block B orion. Also, do we need a wide fairing for the MAV or Altair?

Thanks. I think the Altair will work. Maybe MAV.

One of the many projects is the Talon. Similiar to Orion but new SM that will be able land. Imagine an Orion on top of Altair.

I think what we need next is an update. I have a new Tower that adjusts the height in 2016. VAB that the doors open and a crawler for SLS

That sounds awesome. So you've managed to get the tower and crawler to work in 2016? Cool! Let's compile an update. If you want you could send me the files so I can compile a package and put it on the front page?

I have a US adapter almost done. So block 1b Orion is also almost ready for use. It uses spacecraft4 though. Not a programmed module. And people could add their own hab module. BTW, now I remember a problem, docking to a attached payload of EUS. Got to find a solution for that.

I'm looking now to see if there is any info on what hab module they will use to no avail as of yet. If I have I might consider to make a mesh.

Do you have some info on Talon?

I think On the Talon some parts might be dead in the water.

I got the CM to separate from the SM. BUT the issue is to get the animation state from the Talon to then tell the Sm vessel what the state is



So the Talon is like Orion where depending on the mode different meshes appear/disappear. So in general the CM and Sm are seen. But when you separate the Sm is not seen and a new vessel SM is created. BUt the animation state isn't transferred. This part of the code I haven't figured out yet.

Possible simple solution is to solve it visually:

Only allow the separation if animations are at a specific point (ex: solar panels extended).
That way the mesh(es) will look the same.

Placed on the Moon. The Upper stage is docked with the lander. But trying to launch isn't working.

So in the Upper stage I applied some main thrust which is the Z direction.
Code:
th_att_lin[0] = CreateThruster(_V(0, 0, -3.5), _V(0, 0, 1), MAIN_THRUST, ph_RM, MAIN_ISP);
		CreateThrusterGroup(th_att_lin, 1, THGROUP_MAIN);
		AddExhaust(th_att_lin[0], MAIN_ENGSIZE, tex_main);
But When I undock I sink thru and flip and under the surface. So Increased the main thrust 3 x and I don't sink but it rotates to the surface
