Default UCGO bug? - Cargo not unpacked after scenario reload

I did a mission to Pluto the other day, and unpacked and set up a little base there, using UCGO cargo. Saved the scenario and came back the next day... and oddly, all of the lights were there but there were cargo crates at the bottom of them, the same for the tables and the solar panels. When I reloaded the scenario later and looked again, everything was packed back up - but the lights were still shining.

Is this a known bug?

Known bug. In the scenario, set "AFCMode 120" instead of AFCMode 7.

I replaced all instances of AFCMode 7 with AFCMode 120 and ran the scenario again... they're all still boxes.

"Post the Source, Luke" - I did solve this very problem in my XR Reconnaissance challenge.

Nevermind. I hadn't changed all of them to 120.

I never looked that far into the Orbiter API, but shouldn't it be possible to write a module that changes the scenario before loading it (or after saving it)? That would make things much easier until Dan finds the time to fix it.

The good thing is that cargos that have a own module (like ISRU) don't have this bug.

Yes indeed. Leveraging the normal methods for loading a saved state from a scenario file and searching for a specific value would work, until you ran out of values to find, where it'd stop and hand the file off to Orbiter.

In theory, anyway. Depends who gets to the scn file first I guess.

I have the same problem. I fixed it by changing all of the AFCMode #'s to AFCMode 120. After getting out of notepad, and loading the quicksave file, it works. So then I have my Moon Walker take 1 step and quicksave it again. Close orbiter, reload the newly created quicksave and ALL my AFCMode #s go back to a number that is not equal to 120 and the problem occurs. Am I going to have to change AFCMode #s every single quicksave?
