Yes it's a real project, and the logo may be used on the reproduction, especially since the PAO office decided not to help you with specs.

If you find one on Google images, check the free domain usage statement, most if not all will have free, or public licensing available. Just don't try to sell the add-on with the logo on it. Which I'm confident you wont.

Something tells me there has to be a separation burn to prevent recontact.

Really like the look of the heat-shield! Actually, the whole capsule's got the right "form" going for it right now - Function and Form in the best kind of marriage.

Aye, she's got lovely curves, doesn't she?

Excellent work all! The rate at which is this is progressing is amazing.

That said... I really don't want to be the bearer of bad news here, especially since I've just been on the sidelines and you guys have been doing all the work but:

If that Delta CBC pictured above is the right size then your SM is still too big. They should be the same diameter.

If you'll look at the reference delta picture, the adapter cradle is tapering down to 4m because it's meeting the 4m delta IV medium upper stage, not the 5m CBC.

OK just to clarify, that the icons i created were a normal color one for documentation and official use, while the grey scale one is meant for use on the spacecraft in a low-visibility capacity.

Well, I'd thought about it for a hacked-up spaceplane I had cobbled together. Gave up on it though. There is a tutorial for it on the 'Hangar. Lemme see if I can find it...

The most excellent Greg Burch add-ons may lend some ideas. At least until you are ready for a .dll and Moach's future generic VC is rolling.
