General Question Which propulsion stage? - Orbiter-Forum

I'm currently planning for a Mars mission using Velcro Saturns and futuristic landers/capsules (nothing DG-IV like). I know what launch vehicles and spacecraft I'm using, all I need to know is what propulsion stage I should use.

I've come down to 3 candidates:

Wishbone's
NTR stage

NTR stage
Hlynkacg's
Orbital Transit System

Orbital Transit System
A combination of Kulch's
Space Tankers

Space Tankers
and Sputnik's
Velcro Saturns

Velcro Saturns

The "Tanker-Saturn" stack is arranged like this:

(the amount of S-IIs can vary)

Which propulsion stage would have enough power to push ~50 tons into Martian orbit and back to Earth?
