Murderer... and AFAIR, gas chambers had been used in California for executions already in '47.

It's more lethal injections nowadays than the Gas Chamber, which up until I was five, I always thought was a room in prision they'd send the convicts to fart...i was an odd child

Forgetting to switch on the indoor ventilation in a small rest room after a large portion of good Chili, and your concept is not that odd. But such cruel forms of execution are luckily forbidden now.

Something like that actually happened, although it was with cows.

I'm willing, but the wife doesn't want to be 60 when the next kid graduates from high school.

So I said, "Why not let's adopt an 8 year old?"

I got a blank stare in return. The kid wasn't thrilled either, that would mean resource sharing in the form of someone else getting the benefit of mom and dad's paycheck.

All kidding aside, we'd all be thrilled with another one, but wife isn't capable any more due to some internal plumbing problems. But there is an adorable red-headed baby who we'd love to separate from here meth addicted parents...

The proper authorities haven't done anything?

Why? 60 is the new 40.

But yeah, children and software are really the only things that grow faster than you can perceive.

60 is the new 40! That's what I told the wife. The look I got in return was priceless. Any married man has seen and would recognize that same look. It's something that all females learn once a ring goes on that finger...

In an odd way, I'm not in any hurry for grandchildren. I mean I do want them, but the difference is that it wouldn't be my child, it's someone else's. I'm still going to be a proud grandparent, but I think there will one element removed (if that makes any sense).

And yes, the parents of the red-head have been involved with police before. I think they are on the cusp of losing custody. The dad is a loser redneck (opposed to a hard-working redneck, this guy works hard to worsen the stereotype), and the mom is... I can't type out those words, even if we were in the basement... With these two my thoughts go along the lines of "Can no one rid me of this meddlesome couple?". If wife and I were to somehow get the baby (her name is Jessica BTW), I'd want to ensure that there would be no possible way that they could ever regain custody. The law is tough on this one. Rest assured that the police and child services are keeping an eye on them. I just hope it's enough.

Grandchildren are awesome because you can load them up with a pack of skittles, and 1/2 liter of soda, and then send them home.

They learn it a lot earlier than that...like about 9 months after you put the ring on your wife's finger

If your wife ever gets around to reading what you post on this forum, you'll be sooooo deep in trouble!
