There was this Nickelodeon sitcom (that was aimed at kids/teens) from several years ago called Drake and Josh.

One episode involved a model rocket, and a couple characters commented how the titular characters (in their mid-late teens) were too old to be playing with them. It was probably a solid-fuel rocket, because it accidentally hit a treehouse in someone else's backyard and set it on fire (IIRC).

Does anyone remember that?

Oh yeah, and Drake had a running gag of mispronoucing nosecone as "nosecon" with Josh correcting him.

That treehouse was the only place I could cry in private.

Ain't that the truth.

Sometimes it works:
Lord of the Rings
Harry Potter (If you don't count the first two movies...)
Moneyball
The Hunger Games

and sometimes it doesn't:
Twilight

I used to say to people hyping about Hunger games, "I'll Wait until Ender's Game comes out....."

But Hunger Games is actually a very very good movie. Jennifer Lawrence really is a talented actress.

I read Ender's Game for my summer reading project last year.

Another thing: you're never too old for model rockets. I never saw one in real life myself, though.

Yeah, kind of like video games or model railroads. One of those hobbies you never really outgrow.

What moron would think there's an age limit for model rockets?

They just get bigger as you get older:

So does Drake (he also comments on how they're too old for model rockets).
