I'm actually diagnosed with ADD (I am no longer medicated and am skeptical of the disorder's existence). My doctor prescribed speed (marketed as Vyvanse) for it once. I ended up pulling my only all-nighter, spending the time doing calculations for a Mars mission in Orbiter.

A lot of surprising drugs are prescribed for ADD, even Methamphetamine, marketed as Desoxyn.

ADHD is a real disorder, with the primary feature of not being able to concentrate and lack of focus, and most children diagnosed with this grew out of ADHD, and if you as an adult can work with focus and concentrate on almost every matter, then you don't have it anymore.

Anybody still remember this thing?

Laserdisc Laserdisc

Since my family hated (for whatever reasons they have) going to the cinema, LD rentals was the only way I can watch any movies back in the days, it was still before CD and VCD gained its way.

Films that I can remember that I watched in LD:

1. The Lion King, and funnily, before I rewatched it in DVD, the only scenes I can remember is the ones involving the baboons and the parrots, the lions are all to monotonic to my toddler eyes

2. The Beauty and the Beast, was rented by the request of my girl cousins, my only comment after watching, "why didn't we see more of the Candle Guy? He was funny, what's with the girl doing nonsense all the time?"

3. Disney's Fantasia, still remained one of my favourites

And I am sure I watched several others including Power Rangers and the like, but I can't remember them anymore, it's already 18 years since afterall.

This is the one my family have, I think it's still there somewhere in the mountain of dust that is the garage, together with my old ASUS motherboard and P4 Willamette 1.7 GHz

We watched Laserdiscs in my eighth grade science class, and this was in 2008/2009.
