Just looking through a few old threads and noticed these dont work anymore. Any option to add math type setting back. We could always do it with images, but this was so much easier.

The math system was replaced with an equivalent, but the old tags don't work and I couldn't find a way to convert them. The documentation for the new plugin is here.

Could this (post #51) possibly help in displaying the old tags?

It looks from this post that the author is going to add a math tag soon anyway, so that may automatically pick up on the old content when we get that update. I'll keep an eye on it.

Since August 2020 it seems like there were a patch or two on that Xenforo page...

I updated us to the currently latest version, which is 3.1.0 - this adds [math] for block maths and [imath] for inline - I'm just looking now to see if old threads are affected by that change.

It looks like, yes, but only if the tags are in lower-case - [MATH] doesn't get converted.[/MATH]

This caused a problem when I write comments with dollar signs to denote that the currency stated is in dollars

Hmm, that's strange. It shouldn't affect text outside of those tags. $35 to check.

A XenForo forum user already reported the issue of capital MATH not working in 2021 (post #69).
The addon creator was last seen on Feb. 2023. BTW he's from Moscow...he might have some other priorities in his head...
