You can use the open scram door as an aerobrake in the interim, though it's not as strong as dedicated speed brakes.

    New Release D3D9Client Development

I've had an issue myself, running NASSP 7.0 beta: At random times within 6 minutes of simulation startup, regardless of screen mode, communication with the renderer seems to stop, and I get the dialog box telling me to restart the sim.

Problem Need help adjusting a PID

Personally, I find that the AoA that gets you maximum lift-to-drag ratio is the most efficient climb profile. If you wanna do the whole 250 KIAS below 10 000 feet (130 m/s below 3050 m) limit, then there's that, but max L/D also keeps you in the safe flight regime for the ramcaster. AoA for that...

    OHM F-224 'Firehawk' v1.03

I dig this add-on so far, too, but an issue arises: The aerodynamics. I use AeroBrakeMFD for planning my reentries and efficient flight in all regimes (i.e., best lift-to-drag ratio, coming in a few degrees below stall angle-of-attack on approach/landing, and so on); but I suffer the issue that...

    New Release D3D9Client Development

How does the D3D9 client respond with stock vehicles, like the DeltaGlider? If we knew what your computer's hardware was, it might be a bit easier to diagnose the problem.

10 FPS is still VERY low, all things considered. 20-30 FPS is preferential. What's your PC loadout like?

    New Release D3D9Client Development

Well, I set the texture heights to 10m above the ground, and still couldn't see it. I figure I've got a screwed base configuration in any case.

Yeah, couldn't see it. How can I tweak the .cfg file to raise up the runway tile?

Sorry if the question may have answered earlier, but... Is there any reason why a runway won't render with the D3D9 client?

Typically, engines like the OMS have higher ISP, on account of them being smaller, optimized for a vacuum, etc. Plus, if you intend to use the main engines during approach/landing, it may be helpful to not spend all the fuel in orbital maneuvers.

    New Release D3D9Client Development

Multi-card installations How do I get the client to recognize more than one graphics card? I have an MSI laptop with a GeForce GTX 670M and an Intel HD 4000; the latter always comes up when I start Orbiter, and I cannot select another.
