Question Spacecraft3.dll and meshes not showing (bug?)

Sorry for the late reply, couldn't find the time to try it. But that did the trick! My Process Monitor now shows a LOT more happening at startup, which is good. And all animations are working properly. Thanks for the tip!

Question Spacecraft3.dll and meshes not showing (bug?)

So after a pause of about 9 years, I decided to give Orbiter another go. I wanted to use the XR5 and the Dragonfly (even though it's buggy) and the SSBB4.1 set, but I kept having problems with Spacecraft3 and meshes not showing up (I have Spacecraft4 installed). I kept seeing the same thing in...

    New Release D3D9Client Development

Well, I get no error with the regular version of Orbiter. The dragonfly works fine with the regular version for me, even the radar is working again. But the D3D9client can't even display the left panel because of this error. I hope eventually there will be a fix for this, because in my opinion...

    New Release D3D9Client Development

How can I submit a bug-report for the D3D9 client? When I use D3D9 Client in conjunction with the Dragonfly, I get an error when I move in the cockpit to the left panel (Ctrl - Left Arrow). I already made a post on this forum about it, but other than a confirmation from another user he got the...

    Problem D3D9Surface.cpp - Line 843 - CTD with Dragonfly

Is there no one who can replicate this issue? At the very least I would like to know if I'm the only one with this problem, so I can start troubleshooting. If it's a genuine bug, then troubleshooting on my end would be rather a waste of time. Can anyone confirm this behavior?

    Problem D3D9Surface.cpp - Line 843 - CTD with Dragonfly

Hey guys, I have been really anxious to get started with the new Orbiter 2016, and ofcourse, I want to use the D3D9 client with it. But I've noticed a problem with the Dragonfly, and I couldn't find any post on the forum about this specific problem. This is what I've found so far: When I start...

    Broken Tugs

Malky is correct, main problem is the not functional Center of Gravity shifting. The thrusters thus do not compensate for the changed mass, and you get very weird results trying to move the vessel with an attached module. Furthermore, in the instrument panel, there is an area where you can set...

    Broken Tugs

I tihnk it should be fixable. Somewhere between the 2006 and 2010 version something changed in the Dragonfly code. Shifting centre of gravity (ShiftCoG() ) doesn't work anymore for the vessel (or so it seems), and the radar and camera functions to use the docking port of your attached object...

    Broken Tugs

It would be nice if one of the regulars (or anybody else for that matter) could tell wether the Dragonfly will be fixed in the (near) future. I haven't seen any changes to the bug reports that were filed on it, so I assume no one has yet picked it up to fix it. I find the Dragonfly an extremely...

    Broken Tugs

I have the same problem with the dragonfly. It seems that in the 2010 version of Orbiter the Dragonfly is broken. I haven't heard anything about it being fixed in Beta versions. Really unfortunate it doesn't work as intended, because there isn't a good substitution available for the Dragonfly...

Meshing Question About Anim8or and adding points to edges

I found it. I was wrong to use Cut Edges, what I needed was the Cut Faces tool, aka the Knife tool. You drag across whatever you want to cut, and it creates points there. Problem solved. :)

Meshing Question About Anim8or and adding points to edges

Hey people, Recently I have begun to develop my own spaceship. I'm starting at the beginning, so I take a slow place, working from a mesh, to textures, to a panel (which means coding), and finally, animations. The creation of the mesh is actually progressing quite fine (although slow), but I...
