Saw it! Well, we saw it (+ Shuttle) pass over about 7:45 EDT tonight. The Sun had just set, so it was very bright!

    Apollo Program cameras question

You can see many of those on YouTube, including one of the cameras looking down into the oxidizer(?) tank. According to the flight manuals, they had cameras all over the thing - I wonder where all the video went? Never recorded maybe?

OCR of Apollo 11 launch trajectory

If anyone's interested, I ocr'd one of the data tables out of the NASA trajectory report and put it in an Excel file. You get altitude, downrange distance, velocity and acceleration of the Saturn 5 from launch to injection into orbit, all 3 stages... this so I could compare it to some...

Using orbit math to intersect orbits - Please help!

This is maybe the best source of orbital equations I've found online, although it's in PDF format. You might have to do some work figuring out what all of their symbols stand for and how they relate to your particular problem. The part you want starts at page 125...

What optimal burn attitude profiles should look like

Saturn 5 IGM Actually, the Saturn 5 IGM was something like your #4, and only used on second and third stage burns. First stage *was* one of those simple tip-it-over-at-some-linear-rate things, designed to minimize aerodynamic forces. See...
