Switch of camera from one side (sun lit) to the other side (not lit) of the rocket. The bell starts to glow right before the switch. It is easier to see in the dark. It switches back at 3:22.
I always enjoyed his "Computing at Chaos Manor" in the old Byte magazine. I was introduced to his SF stuff in his collaborations with Larry Niven. I've followed his online blog for the last few years.
The center of the storm passed by me at 6:30AM this morning, at a distance of about 50 miles. I had sustained tropical storm force winds, with hurricane force gusts, I'm sure. I have a few more hours until the rain field completely clears me.
