N/A might be a divide by zero, assuming N/A + 1 = 1. I'd check that the denominator is working correctly.

I'm getting a side-by-side configuration error when I run orbiter beta.
Dependency walker shows:
GPSVC
IESHIMS
MSVCP80
MSVCR80
as the missing .dlls.
I've installed every ms c++ runtime library I could find, which didn't help. Then I downloaded each dll and placed in the the orbiter directory...
Normal mapping is a feature not in the stock client, that is supported by all 3 third party clients, but IIRC D3D11 is currently the only one to support Normal Mapping on planets in addition to vessels and bases.
It's not really something you can see in a screenshot. This clip has a (fixed) bug...
Well, I thought I'd post a little info on how I'm going about coloring the IR texture.
I'm using ImageMagick command line utilities on a windows machine for all operations.
The THEMIS Daytime IR mosaic has a 100mpp resolution, I'm going to use the lower resolution 230mpp (grayscale) visible...
I converted several of the textures that were posted under a creative commons license, the links are on page 2.
