I wanted to use Orbiter for data playback and also to show the flight path directly in real time in the external view, as if there was a track line that followed directly behind the orbiter. I don't know if Orbiter has that capability

Visualizing orbits in 3D view requires the mod called Videnie Orbit Drawing 1.0 by artlav. It was made for 2006/2010 versions of Orbiter, but it works well also in O2016
Thank you very much for your reply, I used this plugin, but I found this plugin is used to display the spacecraft orbit, but I want to show the flight trajectory, for example, the aircraft took off from the ground , and can directly draw it previous flight trajectory behind the vehicle, such as a straight line or a parabola

I'm sorry, I don't think that's what I want to do, I want to draw the exact trajectory of the previous flight directly on the back of the vehicle.

You mean similar to Homeworld?

It might be a bit of a novelty, but I'm not sure I'd use it.
You could maybe mess around with the exhaust textures and change the time it takes for them to disperse.

Yep! I tested it myself while flying Voyager missions
Hi Gargantuna2024, what are the controls to enable it?
Following to the txt file, I pressed Alt-I and pressed 0/1, but I didn't see visual changes in the screen.

It only works in D3D7, maybe you are using D3D9?
