Hot damn! You did it, it works! Don't know if all the modules will work with it but time will tell. Seems UCSO is in some way the problem.

That's good.
The sad part is that you have problems with the 3.1 version. 3.1 is quite a big update, lots of good stuff was added and the deepstar performance was improved especially the maneuverability and fuel consumption.
Use the 3.0 only as a temporary solution until you make the 3.1 playable on your system.

I get a CTD on 3.1 on the bases scn:
============================ ERROR: =========================== Scenario parse error for vessel DeepstarLander2: base 'Huygens Station' not found on body 'Moon'. [Vessel::ParseScenarioLine2 | .\Vesselstatus.cpp | 176] ===============================================================

It is there

Fixed:
I moved it from Deepstar to the Moon/Base folder and it worked. Still have not gotten the EVA to work though

I figured out the EVA. Here the deepstar guy and the Alpaca EVA. Because the deepstar guy is based off General Vehicle he can not rotate without forward or backward speed. The Alpaca moves like the old Ummu

Just want to appreciate the time and effort it must have taken to develop this addon. I just installed it and I'm already having a blast planning trips through the solar system, I always wanted a sort of "futuristic but not too much" scenario populated with bases and stations to navigate in Orbiter and this is it and even more, so again congratulations!

Just recently downloaded and installed. I think they would probably have a flight rule against landing at Huygens Station from the east, unless the powers that be were ok skimming the tops of mountain peaks. Awesome addon, finally nailed landing on mars in the aerolander.

Thanks for the kind words folks and thanks to @predattak for troubleshooting earlier in the year.

I did intend to take time off Orbiter after Deepstar 3.1 was released but not all of 2022. But then I went and had my first child :)

I hope to get back into the sim and addon development at some point in 2023.

Congratulations and enjoy the first years of your child as much as you can: The days will pass much too fast and contrary to Deepstar, you can't just return to them.

But yes, it's possible !!! :giggle: ;)

These 2 characters are "VesselBuilder" vessels


And the command keys are :
NumPad 8 for forward
NumPad 2 for backward
NumPad 4 for rotate left
NumPad 6 for rotate right

Vessel Builder is amazing : you can also make parachutes (automatic opening, but manual mode is also possible like here !!!)
