Earth to Moon in 24 hours (HD Video) 2008-04-18

default_image_150.png

This is a high-definition DivX Video file showing the DeltaGliderIV, from Launch on Earth, to Landing at Brighton Beach.  The entire mission would have taken only 24 hours to get to the moon.    This will demonstrate using Interplanetary MFD for making the voyage.  LandMFD is used for the approach to Brighton Beach.   This was a direct Ascent flight, ie: a Low-Earth-Orbit was not established before Trans-Lunar-Injection.   This is all done in first person view so you can clearly see the panel at all times during the video.

Hopefully this will be able to demonstrate to someone how to fly a DG to the moon.

Download the text file attachment to get the URL for downloading the movie.   The full video is 45 minutes long, and is 369Mb.  The divx codec is required for playback.
