This is a new modification (4-7-07) of Jon Marcure's fabulous 2006 Firefly "Jumbo" add-on, and REQUIRES that you first install his base package, found here on Orbit Hangar Mods. To install, simply unzip the contents of this file into your main Orbiter installation folder (where Orbiter.exe resides), overwriting all pertinent files. To be safe, MAKE A COPY OF YOUR ORBITER INSTALLATION, or simply redownload Jon's "2006 Firefly Jumbo" package again (available on this website) and re-install it if you find this modification is not to your liking. The files I've included here modify his original conception in several small but significant ways.
Most nobably, users will be able to more accurately calculate direct flights to locations within the Solar System, with mid-point turnarounds and deceleration, thereby decreasing travel time. In addition, pilots will need to adjust their piloting skills to the thousands of g's now available using these recently developed propulsion technologies.
Fasten your seat belt! And don't use your Firefly Drive in atmo ~ you may be much faster now, but you can still burn to a crisp!
