IXV1-alpha
After ESA IntermediateExperimental Vehicle.My first vessel and programming exercise (therefor that silly cockpit)Precursor in LUA [2], then ported to c++ along [1].
The MFD IXV1-control was necessay for making input to a script-vessel (cockpit related API not exportet to LUA).- [DET]: detach the main-thruster before reentry,- [CHT]: once: drogue 10m^2; twice mainchute 350m^2the center indicator is just for testing.Kept that user-access in c++, so the 2d-cockpit can be kind of generic for future objectoriented abstraction.
real:- outline, cross sections[4];- lift-, drag-, and pitch-moment coeffs for pitchangle +10° to +80°[3];- weight.
phantasy:- the rcs (for exercise), IXV has no translation;- lift-, drag-, and pitch-moment coeffs for pitchangle <0°, >80°;   (pitching down in rentry strange things will happen);- the metrics for the maneuvering stage;- the chutes size;- of course the cockpit.
from ScriptPB class[2]:- exhaust stream def;- thrust/isp.
launch:- Soyuz FG/U[5] in 'Sputnik'-Configuration (max 11g accel);- Falcon 9[6] in Return configuration;Â Â Â Vega not tried yet.Thanks to Thorton and briani.
This is all about start learning yet.I published, since it seems to be no other IXV implementation.
