Hello everyone, I've figured out why the mesh export sometimes goes wrong. The best way is to use the same texture for every part of the ship. And then there are no more export problems.
I flipped all the parts upside down and filled in the gaps in the mesh.
It's 41 MB but it looks great.

I've analyzed the current mesh, which is 35MB, and the first thing I need to do is apply "Shade Auto Smooth" to all objects to avoid oddly rounded edges. I also need to invert some faces and fill in any gaps in the mesh.

I have much less free time since I went back to work, and I'm spending a lot of time on character animations and other things for Pictown II.

I found a 3D model of "Wholock" on Sketchfab, very well optimized as usual (959 KB).
I had to adapt the textures and rework them for the logos; it's not perfect yet. And a few other minor corrections.
He does fantastic work.

The textures of the USS Thunderchild that I need are hard to find in good quality, or even usable screenshots for texture painting.
