I can't help but wonder what disturbed the comet. I mean something out there had to push it out of the ort cloud. I wonder if the theory about the Nemesis star (our suns companion that comes around every 26 million years and is thought to be responsible for hurtling the asteroid/comet that...
Well I guess this is it. The last time I will see Endeavour airborne. So me and my son went to Ellington Field to say goodbye to Endeavour.

I have a question . how do I make the stereoscopic 3d work. I have purchased nvidia 3d glasses and ir emitter. I have turned on 3d settings in the video settings on high. I don't see any difference in
orbiter from normal viewing to 3d viewing
I have a question. I don't want to start a poll, but I am very curious on your guys thoughts about mankind's motivation to get off this planet and explore the universe. My question is this. If rare minerals such as gold, silver, diamonds, precious gems such as emeralds and ruby's etc...were found...
Great addon. But I do have a problem. What if I want to create a base on my own custom planet? The drop down menu in OBM only shows planets for default solar system. Is there anyway to import a custom planet or have OBM read the current sol.cfg file in my orbiter installation?
Thank you PDF working on converting the asteroid into a planet type in orbiter. So far I have accomplished this now it is a matter of getting everything lined up properly so you have something to land on. Right now the surface is way above the texture like when docking with the vessel version of...
99942 Apophis asteroid. This is my first attempt at using blender for modeling and texturing. The included scenario is my best attempt from what I could find on the internet to match its orbital elements. This has 3 docking ports (invisible) set nav radio frequency to use DockMFD.
It is also...
Modern humans have only been around a few hundred thousand years? Ok fine this cant happen on other planets? If Venus and Mars was habitable why couldn't intelligent life evolve on those planets as well as it did here? If they were habitable wouldn't they have the same building blocks life had...
ok so basically the problem is incomplete state transfer. And this is due to limitations in the orbiter core itself? And if so why does the docking errors happen only some of the time? Why the intermittent error? Seems to me like the lag/latency may have something to do with it. Another...
hey face I am confused. when you say "see the other persons nosecones open" do you mean animation ? that would be no because you disabled them correct? verbal communication in Teamspeak3 is how we know that the other persons nosecone is open. it is the first thing you ask when docking does not...
user A and B have the nosecones open. The docking does not stick. So user A hits F3 and opens user B nosecone. user B does the same with User A . docking is now achieved. vessels used was user A XR-2. User B was XR-1
face what vlad is saying is there are times for unknown reasons that sometimes the docking don't "stick". What vlad is saying is a type of in-game "fix" to the docking
problem.
Had Mars and Venus been habitable (I am assuming by humans) then that would mean life would had evolved there also just like it did here. Question is how fast or slow did they evolve compared to us?. I think it would be a whole different space race then what the US and Russia had in mind. More...
there is also the bridging of a second wireless router on the same network that will essentialy act as a wireless repeater also extending the range. This is how I have mine setup at home both routers using custom firmware from DD-wrt. I looked on the website I don't think bt is supported. If you...
