ORBITER-FORUM will be temporarily closed at 2026-07-23 18:00 UTC while we complete some OF maintenance tasks. The amount of downtime is expected to take up to one hour, but probably less.
Hey Dan, are there plans in the future to expand from only having 60 sounds? More complex vessels like the XR series have a much greater amount of sounds.
Took a quick spin with it and the XR2. No issues from me so far. All sounds played as expected. Just what I was looking for! Will let you know further if any other issues arise.
Would it be a big hassle to include an "XR Vessels Only" option in the configuration of XR Sound so that I hear the callout and warning sounds while using Orbiter Sound for the rest? This way we can have the best of both worlds: sounds for the XR vessel callouts and the 3D external sounds and...
I am planning a mission to Neptune using a high-velocity trajectory. I first planned out the trajectory using the Course program, and then switched over to using Delta V and Map. However, the projected Plan trajectory stops just outside of Jupiter's orbit. Is there a way in the configuration to...
Also, there are additional installation instructions for the Mars Hi-Res textures that could play a factor into this:

Size of planet is modified along with minimum elevation.
I remember back around 2010-2012 someone working on what was essentially an extremely large Arrow (a big interplanetary spacecraft that can land). Unfortunately from what I remember their files were lost due to a computer crash or something of that matter. I tried looking for that thread again...
Tried various combinations here, but to no avail:

I'm not sure what the last two integers mean exactly. I know that...
I'm trying to flatten a base I have on Mercury, Myron Base to be more specific. The immediate base area was flattened, however, I am having an issue specifying at which elevation I should flatten. Below is an image of my current situation and my flattening code.

Having the same exact problem here. Also tried creating a custom configuration following the instructions in the manual, but to no avail. Some help would be nice.
P.S. So would updating it to OrbiterSound 5.0
Yeah that's a good point. Maybe have attitude or hover control autopilot like the ones in the XR2 and XR5? You could probably get the code from dbeachy1 if you asked nicely.
