ORBITER-FORUM will be temporarily closed at 2026-07-23 18:00 UTC while we complete some OF maintenance tasks. The amount of downtime is expected to take up to one hour, but probably less.
The second docking adapter from AxHab-1 seems to be detachable, likely to be temporarily relocated to one of its side ports before it'll be moved on its final position on AxHab-2's aft port once it arrives
The docking port on the left is a CBM-type port. It will be incompatible to an APAS-type mechanism since it was meant to receive the racks that NASA and ESA plans to save before the ISS is sent to the bottom of the Pacific by 2030
Should be similar to those of the early Dragon or MPLM berthing...
This is the latest video from Axiom about their upcoming space station. It no longer berths from the front port of Harmony (occupied by PMA-2) but on the vacant nadir port usually reserved for cargo spacecraft like the HTV-X
Blue Moon HLS has a very unusual docking position, but somehow makes sense given that its crew compartment is on the bottom while its fuel tanks are on top
Found this on Twitter. A concept art depicting New Glenn as one of the potential alternative launch vehicle for the Orion spacecraft once the SLS was ultimately cancelled
There's a new proposed commercial space station being developed by Max Space, which they call the "Thunderbird"...
https://interestingengineering.com/space/us-thunderbird-space-station
Like Bigelow and Sierra Space, they plan to make Thunderbird's habitat module an inflatable one
I honestly thought you're probably referring to Orbiter 2024, and others are just kidding around a little bit lol, but I understand
If anybody knows if an Orbiter 2024 compatible version of AMSO exists, lemme know as well, thanks
There's a rough representation of the new Axiom Station made by francisdrake on the previous page, but there's no version with individual modules/animations yet
Requesting for a modified version of the Cargo Dragon 2 spacecraft that will eventually send the ISS to its final resting place at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean by January 2031 at the latest
New Glenn flights 1 and 2 in paper model version by AXM. Might be useful in custom fairings
(L) = Flight 1 = Blue Ring Pathfinder
(R) = Flight 2 = EscaPADE
