    Orbiter 2024 Launch readiness

Radians would be the natural unit of angle to work in. My opinion is that anything in degrees should specify that usage as part of the function name, just to be super obvious.

Problem Orbiter 2016 Addons on OpenOrbiter

Ostensibly, nothing. If there is anything that doesn't work it would be due to the fact that AMSO was originally linked against the Orbiter 2016 libraries. afaik no virtual functions changed, so it  should be okay, no guarantees though.

    NASSP 8 Installation Guide

I think the last time we officially supported 2016 was circa 2018, so probably a very old version. It should be noted however that this is due to a bug in Orbiter 2016, not a problem with NASSP. Hopefully in the not-tooo-distant-future we will have support for the OpenOrbiter, once it...

RE: venus bases, it has been done before. https://www.orbiter-forum.com/resources/shukra_venus_station_080813.360/ @Artlav iirc, uses his collision SDK for this.

    Skylab 1973 rebuild

The Skylab RCS is just compressed N2. not very powerful, and there isn't much of it. Most of the pointing is done with the reaction wheels or the attached CSM. The Skylaab CSM even has programs dedicated to docked alignment, maneuvering and burns, while attached to Skylab.

Problem Orbiter Will Not Work Orbiter and Orbiter_NG w/ D3D9 Client

If you have the issue where some newer computers cant open Orbiter because they don't support DX9, this makes it so Orbiter loads rather than crashing.

    Question Aerodynamics- Lift Vector

This is unfortunately not as easy as it would seem to simulate in Orbiter. The problem is not specifically a problem with Orbiter or the way it handles forces, but rather is a limitation of the Airfoil class. The Airfoil class (CreateAirfoil3, etc.) really expects aerodynamic force to be...

    Orbiter 2024 Launch readiness

I've been doing some testing, and I've discovered a strange lighting bug: If you look very closely there is a Deltaglider in this image... Easy way to replicate: put yourself in an orbit around Uranus or Neptune (and their moons). The problem goes away as soon as the gravity reference...

Misc IMFD 5.7 with the Arrow Freighter - A "How To"

@Eccentric I would strongly discourage the use of scenerio editor to advance time. It a lot of cases it won't cause any issues, but you lose a lot of accuracy (you're effectively introducing one giant timestep into the simulation). For some addons this will also cause serious problems.
