ORBITER-FORUM will be temporarily closed at 2026-07-23 18:00 UTC while we complete some OF maintenance tasks. The amount of downtime is expected to take up to one hour, but probably less.
I put the Hornet and Atlantic recovery ship in there as an extra.
Hi, thanks. Glad you like it. "Oops" on the no circ vessel focus. I'm biased to the LM when I fly that, switching back and forth. I can fix that on the update.
OK. Recovery was just VHF I assumed also. The reentry ships had more from reading that stuff. The ARIA info I used was from those mission reports mostly, and some sites I don't recall.
If you mean details, I'm no Apollo expert. The Apollo Pre-Launch Mission Operation Reports are a good source for that info. The Apollo 10 one has a network config table.

Thanks. Yes I have. Well, the thing is I already gave fred18 my permission to use the base data from that "Tracking Network Bases for AMSO V2" for his very interesting add-on there. If anyone else wants to use the base data from that it's fine by me. But he did ask first.
This soundpack now provides the Apollo 16 mission in AMSO with detailed audio files. An emphasis was made on providing all the radio traffic in real-time during the first four hours of flight. This covers launch up to LM extraction. After this overviews from the major events up to post TEI...
Hello boogabooga, thanks for the reply. I appreciate the feedback. Regarding the mid-mission sounds I would add that this flight had a lot of problems for a successful mission, those problems together with the humor I think make the outbound flight sounds unique.
Hi ParaG, and thanks for your interest in the soundpacks. Glad you like them. I haven't lost interest, it will be released, just want to wait a little bit more for those last few files. I suppose I could release it as is (90% done), then update it later as well as a patch at the same time? I'll...
Project is in limbo, still no new files to work with unfortunately. Everything that's done is well tested and backed up. Having gotten this far, I want to release it complete. As it is now it lacks any real coverage of the return flight. Hopefully the return/re-entry audio will be made available...
Hi PhantomCruiser. It's just Slat's LC-39-EAFB High-Res with some high res RWY texture, that I don't recall just now. That and the clouds turned off. (I cheated at scenario start copying the state vectors of Enterprise to the T38 to get on their wing , but the rest I flew.)
Found it, I...
Way back when I flew the Gemini 10 double rendezvous and spacewalk successfully with just enough RCS (Project Gemini 4.5/no attitude autopilots/limited RCS). Using the Agena as a stepping stone to the other one was really fun. After reading "Go Play in Space" and other such tutorials and then...
Same here. The first & only time I tried that hike I had to make the tough call to turn back. Good thing I did cause I ended up with 5 min left of air for them before getting back in Antares. It was sure frustrating after investing all that time in that, but nice knowing you made the right call...
Crew wake up post DOI, systems problems overviews like mass spec, RCS reg, APS pressure, & s- band steerable yaw failure with REFSMMAT/state vector manual inputs etc up to undocking. Also Orion ascent to post insertion done.
Undocking, no circ SPS & real-time rendezvous back to station keeping (pre PDI) sequence done. (Probably too much for a soundpack and will have to be scaled down, but fun anyway.)
