By the way, have you managed to resize the mesh yet? (And by that, I mean the one that Fast_toche included in the earlier download link.)

Aside from the lack of textures, the Saber is indeed looking pretty good so far. That being said, the model needs to be resized, as the vessel in question is supposed to be 223 meters long.
Yeah, I think the hull does need to be somewhat lighter, similar to how it appeared in the image I sent you.
By the way, have you tried applying any of the techniques you've learned on any of the other vessels you've done so far (particularly the Olympic and Prometheus)?
Good job on the Saber, although the reflectiveness of the materials is supposed to be similar to what Fast_toche came up with on the Akira. In fact, I'm pretty sure this applies to all the other vessels using David Metletits' 3D models.

If you have the time, maybe you could start working on the Ambassador, Saber, and Steamrunner, as those feature prominently in a few of my STPSP scenarios. Again, the accompanying images should give you an idea of how said vessels should look with regards to their materials.
