Yes, there's a series of 3D models that I'm planning to use in screenshots, but they're all in .max format. Do you know how to convert such files to meshes?
(And just so we're clear here, there's a lot of them that need to get done.)
As I said, I simply need you to convert those models from .max to .msh. Once that's done, hopefully gattispilot can make additional modifications such as scaling.
Yeah, I asked because I wanted someone to convert some of David Metletits' 3D models (which can be found on his Deviantart page) for use in screenshots, but because they were in said format, they ultimately proved to be outside of gattispilot's area of expertise. I'll send you the links in a PM...
In that case, we might as well just abort the whole process, since I was asking for someone to convert those specific models for use in screenshots. That being said, there are a few vessels using 3D models by other users that may be more within your area of expertise.
Are you referring to the Bussard collector antennae? If so, then I'm pretty sure they're already the correct size, at least going by the screenshot.
Either way, you're doing pretty good so far. Hopefully once you've got everything figured out, you can start working on the other spacecraft whose...
That's certainly possible. I personally recommend sending misha.physics the files, so then he can help you out with whatever issues said files might have.

Firstly, here's the Mimas Evac Station, mentioned in the ST: TNG episode "The First Duty" and located within the crater Herschel:
Next is the New Zealand Penal Settlement, shown in the ST: Voyager...
I think I might have missed a step in installing the tiles. After all, this is the first time I've tried to add custom tiles using the whole quadtree system. Isn't there some kind of program I need to run to do so?
STPSP: Trill is an auxiliary entry in the Star Trek Planetary Systems Project (STPSP). This is an attempt to accurately portray the major planetary systems in the Star Trek universe (with some conjecture, mostly in the form of some ideas of mine.) A fan of the series almost since birth, I wanted...
