Request Building Meshes for STPSP Bases

Yes, when packed they add up to that amount. So how do I do that? Do I need to place the folders in the Utils folder for it to work? I'm fairly new to this sort of thing, after all.

It's 113 MB in size. Personally, I think it would be best to simply wait until the requested site maintenance is done. Both planets' textures are level 7.

Request Building Meshes for STPSP Bases

That's exactly the issue I was having. Most of the STPSP systems are less than that, except for the Bajor system, which unfortunately is also the second in the series, and I wanted to stick to the original order when releasing the updated versions. On a related note, I know it's possible to...

Request Building Meshes for STPSP Bases

Just to let you know, I've now upgraded to Orbiter 2016. I was originally planning to wait until after I had uploaded my updated STPSP systems, but site issues forced me to put those plans on hold, and I got tired of waiting for the site maintenance I had requested regarding larger files...

    Resolved Issues Uploading Large Files

I don't know what exact kind of maintenance is needed, just that it is needed. Although I think you'll most likely need to revise the code you mentioned. By the way, I forgot to mention one other thing - sometimes the files will fully upload, but for some reason the site will fail to recognize...

I actually think it's just a temporary issue. Either way, it would certainly be advisable for the site admins to do some maintenance sometime soon.

STPSP: Andor (Update 4.0) - STPSP: Andor (Update 4.0)

STPSP: Andor is part one of the Star Trek Planetary Systems Project (STPSP). This is an attempt to accurately portray the major planetary systems in the Star Trek universe (with some conjecture, mostly in the form of some ideas of mine.) A fan of the series almost since birth, I wanted to...

Request Building Meshes for STPSP Bases

Speaking of which, I've been trying for the past two weeks or so to upload the updated versions of the first four of the original eight STPSP systems, but site issues are preventing me from uploading anything larger than 100 MB in size at the moment, including the Bajor system, meaning I'm...

    Resolved Issues Uploading Large Files

Unfortunately, yes, I am still having these problems. Either way, it might be a good idea to perform some site maintenance at this time.

    Resolved Issues Uploading Large Files

At the moment, I seem to be having some issues uploading larger files (i.e. those over 100 MB in size). Specifically, the upload process tends to stall at about 5 to 10 percent. Am I the only one experiencing this problem?

    Discussion Tile making

    Here are the parameters given in the base's configuration file, using the tiles from aforementioned add-on: BEGIN_SURFTILELIST 4 51 1111 1 4 51 1112 1 4 52 1111 1 4 52 1112 1 4 53 1111 1 4 53 1112 1 END_SURFTILELIST Essentially, what I need are new, higher resolution versions of the tiles for...

Request Building Meshes for STPSP Bases

In the meantime, here are the completed Starfleet Headquarters, Golden Gate Bridge, and Fort Point bases. In order to get the location of the bridge right, I had to create a temporary vessel version and then mess around with the ground location using the scenario editor.

For the time being, I'm using the tiles included in this add-on, which are decent if a bit lacking in detail.

    Discussion Tile making

The co-ordinates, at least for the base itself, are 2.32113 (long.), 48.8655 (lat.). For the time being, I'm seeing if the tiles included in this add-on are still workable. (Keep in mind, I'm still using Orbiter 2010.)

So, I went to the link N_Molson provided, and this is the part of the city that I need to get done:

Okay, so where do I go from there? Sorry, it's just that I've never made surface tiles before, so I'm really out of my depth here.

    Discussion Tile making

So where do I find one? The specific area I want to create the tiles for is the Paris region, particularly the Place de la Concorde and the area surrounding it.

Could you maybe help me with the task described in the post linked below? https://www.orbiter-forum.com/threads/building-meshes-for-stpsp-bases.42047/page-6#post-632548

On another note, does anyone here know how to create surface tiles? I ask because I could definitely use some for the Federation Presidential Office base. So far, the only ones I can find on this site for the Paris region are part of an old, outdated add-on from 2008.
