Apollo 9 LM Landing and Rendezvous Radar self-test error???

Which excel checklists are you referring to, there are checklist files the MFD uses in the Doc/Project Apollo - NASSP/Checklists folder..all other docs are pretty depreciated in the install since we have obtained lots more we cant include with the install. Also numerous checklist updates have...

Apollo 9 LM Landing and Rendezvous Radar self-test error???

So I wrote the checklist MFD procedures using combinations of all procedures for a mission, then modifying timelines to facilitate flying two spacecraft with 3 crew single handedly. The checklist MFD checklists are in the doc folders as excel files. So you can compare but each one I wrote...

    V8 Release Work Thread

Another systems update, we now have added battery outgassing and venting logic as well as heated dump nozzles to the command module. Batteries will now generate heat and small amounts of H2 and O2 when charging and this gets vented to the battery manifold. This pressure can be read on the...

this will probably be a question for @ggalfi as the developer of these textures

    Problem Apollo 12 Terrain problem

Did you follow the instructions for setting this up? Specifically this: "I strongly suggest to use these texture packs with Orbiter2016 Beta+D3D9Client, as it significantly improves the attainable resolution. With the current versions, the best visual results could be achieved by setting...

Apollo 9 LM Landing and Rendezvous Radar self-test error???

You can use the LM-3 G&N dictionary for this as well. https://www.ibiblio.org/apollo/Documents/apollo_9_final_dictionary.pdf

AGS vs PNGS Rate of descent disagree on low altitude Descent Abort

Some of the divergence you are seeing is likely the PGNS incorporating LR data. If you are waiting until 2k ft on Apollo 16 to update the AGS height you are about 12000ft late :p You will notice, for your example, the Apollo 16 timeline has it update at 14k feet, not at 2k ft. Apollo 15 did it...

    V8 Release Work Thread

A long overlooked an missing feature, the range/rate tapemeter power/signal failure light has been added. You will see this light up as of right now under the following conditions: Tape meter loss of AC power (<85VAC) or DC power (<20VDC) PCMTEA 512KHz timing signal loss Rendezvous radar range...

Apollo 12 CSM P20: LM not in SXT?

Both cases are a lot of fun! There are different rescue cases of course depending on the type of abort.

Apollo 12 CSM P20: LM not in SXT?

This is an orbiter limitation, you wont be able to see the LM until about 60nmi unfortunately. The octal for the LM prevents it from searching before a specified time and therefore prevents alarm codes.

Apollo 2 Fictional Mission Now Available!

Thanks to @Max-Q and @indy91 we have an "historical fiction" mission based on the plans for an Apollo 2 flight! "After Gus Grissom and his crew successfully took the Apollo CSM aloft for the first time on Apollo 1, the next step on the road to the Moon is a manned test of the LM. Apollo 2 will...

Question Apollo 2: AS-208 Launch Questions

I just did all the tests everything was correct, my only guess is you missed something perhaps? This should be the first powerup if it is following Apollo 9's procedures.

Question Apollo 2: AS-208 Launch Questions

I will need to set this Apollo 2 up before I can load that save to check, in the mean time I will check the current Apollo 9 and see if there is anything amiss.

Question Apollo 2: AS-208 Launch Questions

Do you have a save around this time I can verify?

Question Apollo 2: AS-208 Launch Questions

Then the numbers should be correct, I am guessing a procedural error then. I would need a save to check though

Question Apollo 2: AS-208 Launch Questions

Did you use the activation from Apollo 9 when you did those checklists?
