The only way to change the spotlights would be to change the DLL as the details of the spotlights would be added to the code of the modified shuttle A itself.

I'm glad you mentioned that, I wondered if it was anything. It starts a few seconds after the backchill of the second stage kicks off. Something was up with that second stage.

Very interesting video. At 2:54 something can clearly be seen falling away from the vehicle. No idea what though.

Another option is to replace the mesh, this is what some addons do for separation type sequences but they needs either something like SC3 or coding.
