Interesting tidbit from Tim Dodd I learned today (I'm not sure how valid this is, but he's pretty reliable) Apparently there won't be an entry burn for the Super Heavy booster. Stainless steel absorbs the heat better than the aluminum of Falcon 9. Will just be a boostback burn and then a landing.

Dynetics actually had the worst rating as far as the technical side goes. Blue Origin would've won over Dynetics.

NASAspaceflight reporting that SLS is targeting a launch date of November 4th. Personally, I think November 4th, 2022 is more likely. :confused:

Replying to a comment I made on this thread exactly a year ago today. I was pretty upset when I made this post and didn't have many channels to vent my stress, so thanks to all who listened. FYI: I ended up being laid off in October, exactly as I feared. I ended up getting another job...

I wonder how you could make that work in Orbiter - I guess you could define a docking port on the launch tower and on Starship? Or you could do what you do with the fairing recovery vessels once the fairing reaches the net.

Probably doesn't help when Elon tweets massive changes like "yeah we're going to catch Starship with the tower" on the weekly too lol.
