Is this for version 5.5? I see Nodal Regression in the main configuration page, but it only does Yes and No, and I don't see nonspherical at all in the map's configuration.
Thanks again dgatsoulis! I finally had the time to sit down and fly the mission. I had forgot to turn nonspherical gravity and torque and all that on the first times I flew, but remembered to do so this time for maximum realism. All that really changed was having to do a few more course changed...
Well it's still not fixed of course. Does anyone know if the value of IDC_BACK makes a difference? The DG for instance defines IDC_Back as 1003, but my IDC_BACK was originally 1004, but because 1004 was shared by a number of other IDC_... tags, but I fixed that and made them unique, but it still...
I don't know what's going on here especially since it was working before. I have a << Done button on a scenario editor page, but it's not going back to the scenario editor. Here's my .rc file:
IDD_DIALOG1 DIALOGEX 2, 2, 309, 225
STYLE DS_SETFONT | DS_FIXEDSYS | WS_CHILD
FONT 8, "MS Shell Dlg"...
A tornado outbreak is going on right now for the southern United States. I thought I'd start a thread for Orbinauts in the area to check in.
I'm here in Atlanta and we aren't expecting anything for a few hours, and the main show to come in tomorrow. So just sitting, waiting and watching the...
There's also a Saturn V in Huntsville, Alabama. The real one is in a building horizontally like at KSC, but they have a full-scale model outside mounted vertically you can walk under!
Congratulations Dr. Schweiger and Nikita Vtyurin and Andrew Thielmann! That must feel pretty good to have your work featured in an official production!
Thanks a lot for all the information! I too have to go get something to eat now so I'll do a detailed read-through and watch your video later, but for fuel, I just kept topping it off with the scenario editor! :P This wasn't supposed to be a "real" flight, I just decided "hey I should fly...
Sure! The first scenario is about halfway enroute to the moon. I've just switched the left IMFD into Planet Approach and setup a target periapsis of 140k above the lunar surface, and gotten my relative inclination down as much as possible, it's currently about 1.9 degrees. I didn't think of...
Tonight, I decided to fly a rendezvous mission to Earth's Moon, I flew an XR2 from Earth Orbit to the Moon in a 24 hour trajectory, then rendezvoused with an orbiting XR2 I had already placed in lunar orbit. The flight was one of my best, I pulled off a good synchronization of the orbits around...
(Bolding mine) Not in this country anyways. The unions will usually always oppose this (not an indictment on unions, some are good, some are bad, some are neither), but we're starting to see that put in place in our rail vehicles after the recent Metro North derailment. Frankly, I don't see the...
If Intrepid is open (I didn't hear that it had closed!) it's worth a visit particularly with Enterprise there now. It's on the westside of New York City along the Hudson, easily reachable from a bus and short walk. My personal opinion is that it's not the best museum, but it's worth at least one...
I'm seeing the same idea on this thread I see elsewhere, namely that nuclear is some new technology that is just getting off the ground. It is not. The United States and France have the most reactors of any nation having 104 and 58 respectively. Combined, there has been one accident with wider...
To the OP, that joystick is a really good value. I'm on my third one, with the first two only breaking due to personal stupidity rather than the design. In my opinion, the 3d Pro perfectly balances sensitivity with responsiveness. The only maintenance I've needed to do with it is the occasional...
A poster on another forum apparently was a submariner and did some anti-submarine warfare at least in exercise. Suffice to say, he knows the challenges of locating something in water, and apparently, the shallow water of the area is pretty bad for being able to locate a noise source. And that's...
