Just out of idle curiosity... what's the maximum number of planets and moons Orbiter can handle? I'm at about 100 at the moment (lots and lots of rocks!), and working on adding the Outer Planets to the list of working addons, which would bring the total up to 200 or so.
I've also noticed some flickering of planets occasionally. I first noticed it over Jupiter, testing the Outer Planets addon; I later notest it in LEO. I'm thinking it's the cloud layer. Not sure what's causing it... perhaps the fact I've got a hundred or so rocks flying around right now? (I love...
It's starting to look like most of the things that aren't working in 2016 are the newer ships and Earth bases, mostly.

USS Nemesis station seems to be working, although I haven't tried to dock with it yet...
I'm guessing the same thing. I don't think 2010 calculates orbits any differently than 2016. It wants those numbers in radians, but the creator of the addon input them in degrees.
It's an easy mistake to make... remember the Mars Climate Orbiter?
The orbital parameters for this addon are way off. The entries are in degrees, but the units are in radians. Change the orbital parameters to these, to fix the problem:
Eccentricity = 0.15586
Inclination = 0.50626503813 ; rad
LongAscNode = 1.3861405 ; rad
LongPerihelion = 5.1766466...
I'm wondering if Makemake is similarly inclined. Same dev... gonna go look...

Answer: Yup!
Varuna's inclination is way off. It's inclination is like 90 degrees to the ecliptic.
I discovered why. Varuna's actual inclination is about 17.165 degrees. The cfg says 17.158... radians. Which is like 983 degrees. The other orbital parameters are similarly wrong.

Not sure if this is a bug of the mods, or of Orbiter: Flying two tailsitters, Luna and Rolling Stone. If they don't land perfectly, they fall over. But they keep falling through the ground until they are pointed nose downward into the earth.
50s Station and O'Neill Island 3 Colony v0.9 both work. :)

I found a parameter in videnie's config file that seemed to fix this.

So I'm thinking the best way to approach this challenge is to approach Jupiter from the poles; that would give you a 90 degree plane change pretty easily I should think?
Oddly, the config file says "Inclination = 17.158", though it says the units are radians. Which might be the problem. 17 degrees would be about 0.3 radians. 17 radians is like 974 degrees.
