granted! it is so realistic that before ANY mission, you must even go through all the hassle of politics and funding, etc... to such a life-like extent that 99% of your missions never even get out of the drawing board - and those that do, just might get cancelled at the most frustrating moment...

the G42 is set to compile at a pretty high level of optimization - including SSE2 (maybe SSE3) instructions, if i recall correctly that's almost certainly the cause of your troubles, i suspect... if you could rig up your more recent PC, perhaps that would be the best thing to do right now...

check if the scenario files aren't trying to use some MFD you might not have installed (shouldn't be the case for a CTD, tho).... just in case and hmm... let's see, what else... is this a standard (non-beta) version of Orbiter 2010-P1? or wait... did you say your PC is incompatible with the...

only thing i can think of is: double-check your install... :shifty: make sure you got everything from the zip installed in the right folder and stuff - seems like your G422 module isn't being loaded at all there :rolleyes: if no avail - then check that you have the MSVC2008 redistibutable...

well, in fact - the cargo bay and some other things have already been textured... i was just hoping for a more meaningful set of features before i'd pack it up again... but perhaps i got too greedy - i might just polish up the current set and release what i have so far... the engines...

all valid points, indeed.... i, myself, being a regular flight-sim junkie packing X52 and rudder pedals wouldn't miss the chance of flying by hand even when there ARE autopilots to do it for me.... :lol: but those are important, very much so.... still, perhaps not as much as being able to...

roger that! :salute: just a side note, i think you can get those inputs from zero-power thrusters just as well (i did on the G42) - just make sure you have a dummy fuel source, lest they keep reporting all zeroes :thumbup:

you might wanna start by looking at my flight controls module.... now momentarily called "Project ORCADE" (ORbiter Control Assigned Device Enabler) it does all the directinput stuff and wires it up to orbiter, so you can use any number of joysticks for doing a bunch of stuff the thing is not...

you can just edit the files in Textures/DGa2 as you normally would the ones prefixed "ext" are for the exterior model, as one would expect :thumbup: make sure you create a backup first, there's no built-in support for skinning at the current release (will do in a near future)
