I agree with you. Seeing Avatar in 3D at the theater was absolutely breathtaking. I didn't really care for the story, but the effects were phenomenal. I loved the bioluminescent forest at night and the flying dragon scenes.

I know the Voyager probes achieved escape velocity from the Solar System, but what about the Milky Way galaxy? Are they going fast enough to leave the galaxy, or will they be sucked into the center of the galaxy (and destroyed) one day?

I liked Astronaut Farmer. That was a good movie. The tech wasn't too awful, except when Billy Bob started the retro pack and the capsule fell straight down LOL.

It is nothing but "goofs." This movie should be in the category of comedy, not horror or thriller.
