OFMM-1 Mission Thread - Scenario is Posted.

Apparently, garyw has stepped down from OFMM. This has been said by him in O-F's ChatBox a few days ago, the exact message is in the archives somewhere. Take this post with a pinch of salt as it is not completely verifiable information, but has a likely probability.

    Project Kosmos-3M

Modified Dnepropetrovsk Sputnik P1-M (DS-P1-M). The changes are that I added a little more detail, mainly the fact that there are two side loopy antennae instead of one. If you want it, that is fine. If you don't want it, that is fine. EDIT: The image might be a bit misleading, the black...

    Request Elektron Program

Elektron is a little bit like GRAIL, there are two satellites (Elektron-A and Elektron-B) launched by one rocket into different orbits, each satellite studies a different part of the radiation belt. Although the program only lasted for four spacecraft and two launches, there is plenty of...

Cycling / Running - Logs, Stories, & Pictures (any fellow cyclists or runners here?)

Yes, this is extremely true, what with my father being a driving instructor. This is why I cycle on the streets instead of the main roads. In fact, just yesterday we nearly had a crash when a car pulled out too early on a 'T Junction' to our car.

    Discussion Developing my first satellite

What I mean is, they are all diagonal. Try having just one horizontal, the animation might be a little easier. Or, you could adopt a sideline project, whenever I make a mesh, and there is something I am not sure about, I would start a sideline project to test the problem and hopefully get some...

Mars-Streak/Zond For the past hour I have been working on a simple concept; Mars-Streak and Zond Lander. This is the Mars-Streak/Zond Interplanetary Block (MS/ZIB) it is launched atop a Proton-K sometime around the 1970s. It is propelled to Mars by two Blok DM upper stages: The rear section...

    General Question Texturing Program

Well sure, of course you do not. I just stated the easiest option. All you have to do is just three clicks and you are done. What is your method and how is it easier or more effective?

Again, SketchUp has a built in UV Mapper and Texture Manager. But, Wings3D also has a UV Mapper, I never did understand it though. Search Google for some tutorials, there are many.
