Yes, you're right. When I wrote EasyTiler, only Google Earth exists (or at least I know only about it). I suppose it probably can be possible a similar program can be written for virtual earth, but some work and experiments will be needed, because i suppose storing of the data and calculating...

    Request VASIMR powered lunar tug

I've seen the tread just now. Of course i can share the source. With few words - I made a custom function which calculates ISP, depending of level of thrust. I used a Trust/ISP chart, provided by AdAstra, and created a function, corresponding to a chart. Everything is real. About thrust -...

DLL for LZhM is now ready. It lacks only main engine gimballing.

    Russian Lunar Program 1975

"Block V" is named "Vezuviy", and Kulch found some information about it. This is Kulch's Vesuviy: I don't know when Vulkan will be ready, but it is not easy, You know Kulch makes addons very real and detailed, and it is not easy and fast job. I made large stop in developnent of '1975 lunar...

Yes, I think about making a LZM along with the LZhM - it will be easy, You're right. The DLL-s will be similar too, so when i've finished the LZhM dll, i will make the LZM. Unfortunately both modules are not very usefull without Kulch's Vulkan, and I plan to wait with the release, until Vulkan...

    Russian Lunar Program 1975

Yes, i already tried to find a help with the texturing earlier, but unfortunately nobody was found :) If i've had a lot of money, i've assemble a team of the proffesional designers to make the models for me... and more proffesional coders to help me with the code... eeeeh, dreams... :)

    Russian Lunar Program 1975

This is the redesigned (again) version of the living module: I've asked with the Russian spacecraft specialists about the LZhM and LEK. They answer me about thermal blankets, used in Russian spacecraft. It seems that blankets have many layers. The inner layers are electro-vacuum thermal...

New updated model: The reworked hatch close view: I'm still want to redesign blankets, but i'm not satisfied with the results, so i will try again.

Many thanks, Urwumpe! You are perfectly right and i will change the model this way. I'm working already, so soon i will post the results! The "freed" polygons give me some room to add additional detail :) -----Post Added----- Ok, here the new version: Some little detail will be added...

    Russian Lunar Program 1975

Thanks! This helps a lot! In this case, i will change texture into "blanket" type, but will add meteoroid shields on the cylinders. Something like Salyut station: Is this will be ok this way? Meanwhile, i've removed the rivets and triangles fall to 34000. size of the mesh file is lower than 3 MB.

    Russian Lunar Program 1975

Yes, You're right about rivets - i will remove them, and place the meteor shields instead. About thermal blanets - i though the soviets didn't use them in early 70's, see the pictures of early Soyuz in Leicester: Too bad i can't find Salyut space station photos with good quality. I suppose...

About 84000 triangles. Actually the rivets are responsible at least for the half of this number. Some people said, that rivets are not used in spacecraft plating, so i think about their removal, despite of their cool looking. What do you think?

I'm continuing to work, but i have a very little free time, so the progress is very slow. This is the new pictures of the Lunar Living-Laboratory Module. The model is 100 percent ready, but i'll appreciate some help with texturing. I need at least UV-maps to be created, but some help from...
