Lapis occurs over a wider height range, but most importantly, it occurs in much bigger clusters, whereas diamonds have the smallest clusters afaik.

Could you post some screenshots? I do not experience what you are describing (I think), so seeing the issue might shed some light, pun intended. I am assuming you have maximum resolution level set to 14, if not, do so.

First let's see how the new version is. Assuming it is still possible, which is very likely, we will move some crates or a ship of some sort over to the new map. Maybe mojoey wants to explore for himself then.
