I think that all you might need is the original Earth cfg file, not the whole original install. I keep an original Orbiter setup on a backup drive just in case I need to reinstall something.

The only thing I can think of is that there may be a conflict with another addon. Sometimes the MFD selections you have can cause conflicts as well - the STS 2016 will not need all of them you have installed. Your second install is probably the best route to go - I have 4 separate installs for...

STS-9? After 61c the name Columbia was moved off the PLBDs to under the cabin windows.

Have you tried starting the default scen in cockpit view and then waiting 10 seconds or so. I find no issue with it if I do this. The default Shuttle seems to need to settle into the pad first in my program.

Hi Gieno - you can give this a try - it's imperfect - wrong position of HST - not all the pallet shows up - but maybe someone else can work it better. I'm not sure how to attach items onto the pallet - they don't seem to show up for me. See what you think.....

Geoair2 and Gieno, Thank you for the response - I'm trying to see if there are files for STS-6 with the TDRS for SSV. As well the spacelab on STS-51B or STS-9. I'm having trouble placing the payloads for those missions - either they are in the wrong direction or they don't show up. many thanks!
