Ok, explain how a mesh missing from the vostok craft has anything to do with the shuttle missions. They don't even USE the same door. it seems like there is a pathway or something missing and the diagnostic isn't detecting it.

I found and installed the Earth_1962 add-on and while those scenarioes work now, it still doesn't fix the problem I've got of weird things happening to the shuttle when I try to do animations and the Shuttle falling apart and the game crashing when I try to lower the shuttle's landing gear...

I disagree, but, again, that's not the point. The point is having a scenarios to launch the entire space fleet on a short time scale. If it helps, think of the invasion just being a big rock and this being the last ditch effort. And, please, no more defeatist attitudes. "Optimism, Captain!"...

:rofl: nice, but we could travel the stars easily if we could just get off our planet. So an alien culture at our tech level is not unrealistic. Besides, the idea is to get a bunch of realistic spacecraft in orbit in a short period of time, the weapons would just be really cool.
