Recently I have been having this really weird problem with my computer. Internet End of YouTube?

Heard about this on another website and I thought it would be interesting to hear other people's opinions about it. http://www.youtube.com/blog?month=12&year=2008 (Scroll down to the "A YouTube for All of Us" entry.) Apparently, YouTube has decided to "algorithmically demote" videos that...

    Apollo 15's Flag

This has been bothering me for a while now. As you can see in the video, the flag does indeed wave. I was curious as to what caused that. Interestingly, the fact that the flag waves that long proves that it is in a Lunar environment. The video was originally uploaded by a moon hoaxer, but this...

    Harper Calls Early Election

http://www.cbc.ca/canada/story/2008/09/07/election-call.html Looks like our Canadian friends will be beating us Americans to the polls this year. What is interesting, is that Harper himself got a law passed requiring fixed election dates. So it looks like there will be another federal election...

    Progress bug.

I seem to have a problem getting a scenario to work. The problem usually occurs after fairing separation or when the progress is jettisoned. I keep getting CTDs. Need Some Advice on Forum Moderation

I know that this is really off-topic, but since this forum seems to have a good moderation team, I was hoping for some advice. About a week ago, an Internet forum (which shall remain nameless because you do not really need to know what I do) was launched. Now I do not actually moderate, but I...

    Graduation

Well, it is official. Just a couple of hours ago, I officially graduated from high school. :graduate: It has certainly been a long time coming. I have met a lot of people during my four years in high school (most of whom I will probably never see again). But now it is time to move on and look...

When We Left Earth: The NASA Missions

I am not sure if anyone else has heard, so I thought I would say something. The first part of six will be airing tonight at 9 PM EDT on the Discovery Channel. It looks like it is going to be something about the history of NASA. It is in HD and it is narrated by Lt. Dan!

    Ha! Check this out

I was just surfing around when I came across this: http://zodtgr8.deviantart.com/art/Two-Buddies-in-plastic-67830817 Forget Buck Rogers. I want some Apollo 12 action figures! But seriously, I did not know they used to make those kind of things. (I mean astronaut-specific figures.)

    Gas Price Relief?

Came across this website through a YouTube video: http://www.gaspricerelief.net/ I was interested in what others think about it. It sounds good, but the website itself seems kind of like a scam of some sort. According to the maker of the video where I found it, he saved more than $100.

    An International Community

One thing I find interesting about the Orbiter community is how we have members from many parts of the world. I thought it would be a neat idea to have a visual representation of that, so I made this. The map was obtained off of Wikipedia. A country is colored green if there has been a member...

    Question about the UK

Because of the very international nature of Orbiter-Forum, I was hoping someone could help me with a quick question. I know that the United Kingdom consists of four constituent, or component, countries (Northen Ireland, Wales, Scotland, and England). But when looking at the big picture, is it...
