Is it only for spaceplanes? Maybe that's why it's inverted for a retrograde capsule?

By retrograde I mean you point the heat shield forwards. Prograde is in the direction of the docking port.

I see that the launchpad in the scenario file is where you can set your launch countdown and your target orbit- but where do I change the location of the launchpad, if I want to choose between LC-1 and LC-31? I don't see anywhere to edit the coordinates in the scenario or config files. Thanks
