Closed alpha, to boot. But yes, definitely looks promising.

    News India's Great Depression

Most economies seem to have already been on unsteady ground. This, combined with the brewing price war between Saudi Arabia and Russia over oil and the COVID-19 outbreak, does spell trouble on a surprising large scale. Heck, the US markets have lost more than 20% of their value in under a month...

    Updates Boeing's CST-100 Starliner

Boeing should have been receiving similar scrutiny anyways, regardless of "legacy"... and especially after the MAX crashes.

Gaming Space Engineers (now in BETA)

Somehow, I managed to get invited into the Last Stand Gamers server for their latest rendition... It's already been pretty interesting. Big event tomorrow that, because of real-world commitments, I will not be able to attend, so I'll be interested to see what happens.

    Updates Boeing's CST-100 Starliner

Well, sure. I'm sure it was written into his contract with them.

    Updates Boeing's CST-100 Starliner

This is precisely the problem. And short of a wholesale replacement of the company's entire management structure and taking the company off the stock market... it's going to continue to remain a major problem.

    Updates Boeing's CST-100 Starliner

NASA has basically admitted that they don't trust Boeing to be honest and transparent about any issues with Starliner, especially software. https://arstechnica.com/science/2020/02/boeings-starliner-problems-may-be-worse-than-we-thought/

    News COVID-19 pandemic

Cooking food properly, though still sound advice, won't make a difference in this particular case. Now, covering your mouth and nose when you sneeze and/or cough, and encouraging other to do the same... That's going to help this situation immensely.

    News COVID-19 pandemic

I'm not worried about 2019 nCoV. The media is up to its usual fear-mongering shenanigans (with a healthy dose of racism and sinophobia thrown in for good measure) and is making it out to be far more serious than it actually is. The only folks who did after catching this are the immunocompromised...

    Updates Boeing's CST-100 Starliner

I think Donamy just hit the nail on the head. It's a Boeing program, and right now, they've dug themselves a mighty deep hole with their pursuit of profits. It's going to take them some serious effort to get out of their current situation by correcting the systemic cultural issues now facing...

    Updates Boeing's CST-100 Starliner

I wouldn't be so quick to get onboard... https://arstechnica.com/science/2020/01/nasa-and-boeing-are-closely-looking-at-starliners-thruster-performance/

News Doris Miller: US Navy aircraft carrier to honour black sailor

It's also the first supercarrier to honor an enlisted sailor. Hopefully the Miller will be much more reliable than the Ford[ has been.

Gaming Space Engineers (now in BETA)

Hmmm. Generally you have to get within a certain distance of their home base to trigger a deployment. I think it's 15km or so. You should be able to see the base marker on your HUD. Just steer clear of those areas until you can craft some sort of stand-off weapon to cripple the outpost's ability...

Generally speaking, if you're in a gravity well, they'll ignore you, simply because they can't handle the gravity.

The ideal size depends on what you seek to do with the server. If it's only a few people, a full-blown PvP setup isn't very ideal... but a joint survival/exploration is perfect, especially if you build a base ship.
